Tour Program

Day 1: Grand Tunis

  • Visit the Bardo National Museum and its exceptional collection of Roman mosaics.
  • Explore the Medina of Tunis, with its UNESCO-listed souks and craftsmen’s alleys.
  • Lunch in La Goulette, followed by a visit to Carthage.
  • Discover Sidi Bou Saïd, with free time to explore.
  • Overnight in Hammamet / Nabeul.

Day 2: Kairouan · El Jem · Monastir

  • Visit the Great Mosque and Medina of Kairouan.
  • Traditional Tunisian lunch en route.
  • Discover the Roman Amphitheatre of El Jem.
  • Continue to Monastir for the Ribat, Bourguiba Mausoleum and Marina.
  • Return to Hammamet / Nabeul.

Day 3: Hammamet / Nabeul → Tozeur

  • Departure towards Tozeur and check-in at a 4★ hotel.
  • 4×4 excursion to the mountain oases of Chebika, Tamerza and Midès.
  • Discover Ong Jmel and the Star Wars filming locations.
  • Lunch at Diar Tamerza Restaurant.
  • Overnight in Tozeur.

Day 4: Tozeur → Douz → Sahara

  • Drive to Douz, then continue by 4×4 into the Sahara.
  • Lunch en route and sunset over the dunes.
  • Sandboarding and traditional bread-baking in the sand.
  • Evening campfire.
  • Dinner and overnight under canvas at Camp Abdelmoula

Day 5: Sahara → Matmata → Chott el-Jerid → Hammamet / Nabeul

  • 4×4 return to Douz.
  • Discover the troglodyte homes of Matmata.
  • Cross Chott el-Jerid, the great salt lake.
  • Lunch on return.
  • Scenic transfer back to Hammamet / Nabeul.
  • End of Program
