This journey takes you from Phoenician ruins and Roman amphitheatres to medieval medinas and the golden dunes of the Sahara, all in one relaxed, easy-paced circuit. Ideal for small and mid-size groups who want culture, history and a genuine taste of local life.

Tour Program

Day 1: Arrival · Hammamet

  • Arrival at Tunis–Carthage International Airport, private transfer to Hammamet.
  • Welcome briefing, evening free at leisure.

Day 2: Tunis Cultural Discovery

  • Full-day excursion to Sidi Bou Said and the ruins of Carthage.
  • Visit the Bardo National Museum, home to one of the world’s finest collections of Roman mosaics,
  • Then explore the UNESCO-listed Medina of Tunis.
  • Overnight in Hammamet.

Day 3: Hammamet → Kairouan

  • En route stop at Dougga, the best-preserved Roman town in North Africa (UNESCO).
  • Continue to Kairouan to visit the Great Mosque and Medina, the first great city of Islamic North Africa.
  • Evening carpet-weaving workshop with local artisans.
  • Overnight in Kairouan.

Day 4: Kairouan → El Jem → Tozeur

  • Visit the Roman Amphitheatre of El Jem (UNESCO),
  • Then continue through central Tunisia to the desert oasis town of Tozeur.
  • Overnight in Tozeur.

Day 5: Tozeur → Matmata → Hammamet

  • Morning 4×4 excursion to the mountain oases of Chebika, Tamerza and Mides.
  • Continue to Matmata to discover the traditional Berber troglodyte houses.
  • Transfer back to Hammamet.
  • Overnight in Hammamet.

Day 6: Departure

  • Free morning at leisure or optional spa experience.
  • Private transfer to Tunis–Carthage International Airport.
  • End of Program.
